Anna Jenman - Legal Translator

Anna graduated with an LLB Hons in Law with French Law and French Language after studying at law schools in the UK and France, and began translating at two UK law firms, providing specialist legal translations into her mother tongue, British English.

​

She has owned and operated Anna Jenman Translation Services since 2013, and she is a NAATI Certified Translator of French and Spanish into English.  She has also been an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Linguists since 2006.  Her translations are acceptable for all official and government purposes in Australia, including for migration, visas, AHPRA and DFAT.

Anna is a member of AUSIT which is the professional association for translators and interpreters here in Australia.  She is bound by the AUSIT Code of Ethics and undertakes regular professional development, as well as occasionally delivering training to other T&I practitioners. Anna served on the AUSIT Queensland Branch Committee for three years and is the former Secretary of AUSIT QLD helping to implement training and networking opportunities for T&I professionals across the state.

Aside from translating, Anna has also previously worked as a translation project manager at the Institute of Modern languages, University of Queensland, and as an industry consultant and software project manager at AcudocX, a new tech startup in the translation sphere.
